Bullying, in any form, undermines the core values of respect and professionalism that educators strive to instil in their students.

Erica, a member of the TPAA Western Australia branch, encountered bullying tactics aimed at undermining her substantive position within her school.

Despite her dedication and contributions to education and her students, Erica found herself in a vulnerable position due to the actions of her principal.

Erica reached out to TPAA for assistance.

Erica’s assigned case manager engaged with the WA Department of Education's employee relations department to address the bullying allegations and advocate for Erica’s rights and fair treatment.

Through the support of TPAA, the matter was successfully resolved. The WA Department of Education confirmed Erica's substantive position, reaffirming her professional standing and recognising her valuable role within the school community.

How is the TPAA so effective in defending members during workplace issues and disputes? Our experienced and professional case managers use our unique RED™ case resolution system.

Why is the TPAA different? We believe that real change in education STARTS with empowering educators, not bureaucrats.
